Dale is an active performer, instructor, and inventor in the marching percussion arena. He has performed with The Cavaliers, the University of Illinois Illini Drumline, the Chicago Bears Drumline, the Chicago Bulls Stampede, and is currently playing quads with the Crystal Lake Strikers.
His instructional history includes 5 years as bass technician for The Cavaliers, 1 year as DCI percussion judge, and many years teaching high school drumlines in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.
Dale uses Dynasty drums for the beatRack and holds patent #7,576,276 for the Percussion Instrument Spinner which was used by the Blue Devils. He was the first to glue foam to the inside of bass drums for muffling.
Dale's favorite invention is the Quadzoom with Dynasty Quads.
He is proud to have developed new drumlines such as the Crystal Lake Thunder (WGI Indoor Independent Class A Finalist) and The Kingpins Drumline for special needs students.
Dale is a retired Electrical Engineer.
