Jason Steigerwalt began his percussion career with private drum set instruction from Scott Wolfinger. That experience was paralleled in the Parkland School District, under Terrell Smith, where he was a 4-year member of their marching band, 2-year indoor percussion member and 2-year percussion captain. He continued his percussion studies with the Temple University Diamond Marching Band while he obtained a Bachelors Degree in Architecture. Most recently Jason found himself returning to the marching field with Windsor Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps. 

Jason has been actively involved with numerous marching programs and organizations in the Lehigh Valley area, including the Parkland High School Indoor Percussion Ensemble, Parkland Middle School Indoor Drumline, the Kutztown University Marching Unit, Starcross Indoor Percussion, Northern Lehigh Marching Band, and has accepted new positions with both Northampton Area High School's Marching Band and Aftermath Percussion. 

While working with the above mentioned groups, Jason has lead them to numerous successful seasons including the most recent 2015 Cavalcade of Bands American A class and high percussion champions, Northampton Area High School, big N band. Jason proudly endorses Vic Firth sticks and mallets and Dynasty Percussion.
