Joe Davis is the Director of Percussion at Lebanon High School in Lebanon, OH. Under Joe's direction the Lebanon Percussion Program has steadily increased and now includes over 40 active participants. Lebanon's Marching Band is an active participant on the Mid-States Band Association Circuit in the Dayton, OH area as well as the Ohio Music Education Association Adjudicated Events. The Lebanon Indoor Percussion Ensemble has found success in the Mid East Percussion Association circuit. In the winter of 2002, the Lebanon Indoor Percussion Ensemble stormed onto the scene with a semi-finals performance at the 2002 Winter Guard International Championships. Joe has been the Director of Percussion/Arranger at Lebanon High School the last seven years.
In addition to his responsibilities at Lebanon serves as a member of the Vic Firth Education Team. Joe has been involved with the Drum and Bugle Corps activity as a member of the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps where he was named Percussion Rookie of the Year, before aging out in 1995. Joe holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Music Education from Miami University in Oxford, OH. Joe's professional affiliations include OMEA, PAS, and Phi Mu Alpha.
