Bright

Neal Bright is the Assistant Director of Bands at Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia as well as Percussion Director for the Carrollton City System. A graduate of Effingham County High School, he holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree with an emphasis on percussion from Georgia Southern University and a Master of Music Edu-cation from Vandercook School of Music. While at Georgia Southern, Neal studied under Dr. Matt Fallin. He performed with the university's Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Marching Band and Indoor Drumline. While at GSU, he was a drumline instructor for the Southern Pride Marching Band as well as the GSU Indoor Drumline. 

Neal spent two years, 2003 and 2004, as a member of Atlanta Quest and has also served as a Battery Tech in 2007 and 2008. He also marched on the tenor line for the 2008, 2009 World Champion Alliance Drum and Bugle Corps. 

Neal currently designs and composes music and marching band shows for Countermotion Inc., also working regularly as a marching band clinician and judge.
