Phil Brown is percussion caption head for the Kidsgrove Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps, Staffordshire, England. His relationship with the corps started back in 1993 when he first arranged for and taught the corps while he was still marching with the Madison Scouts in the USA. After his age out in 2004 he stayed on in America for a further two years as tenor tech for the Capital Sound Drum & Bugle, Madison, Wisconsin whilst also teaching and arranging for the Senators Drum & Bugle Corps back in England. In 1997 Phil returned to Kidsgrove Scouts as percussion arranger, instructor and took on a major role in show selection and design. He has played a huge part in the many exciting productions that the corps has put on the field throughout the years. He also has excellent experience and talent in writing and teaching the battery and has taught and arranged for many Drum & Bugle Corps around the world including the US, Japan, UK and Holland. Phil has also been responsible for forging the new partnership with Dynasty over the last year. 

Phil marched with the Madison Scouts, Madison WI (92, 93 94), Sunrisers, Birmingham, England (87, 88, 89, 91) and started his career with the Leek Commodore Cadets as a member of the horn line when he was only knee high.
