Scott Wolfinger Scott Wolfinger began his percussion career with his elementary instrumental teacher David Fluck and drum corps fame Mr. Ed Gibbons. He then continued his percussion studies as a Percussion Performance major at the University of West Florida and the University of Maryland while serving a successful military career filled with many honors and achievements in the United States Air Force. Scott runs his own percussion studio called Wolf Trax Percussion. He has enjoyed a highly successful career as an instructor, arranger, adjudicator and independent clinician, conducting percussion clinics through out the Eastern U.S. and the Southeastern United States. Scott currently is Director of Percussion Studies at Northern Lehigh School District in Slatington PA and Caption Head for the award winning Archbishop Wood HS percussion program in Warminster PA. Scott has instructed, arranged and consulted for many championship HS drumlines through out the late 70s 80s and 90s, including Souderton HS, PA Quakertown HS, PA Parkland HS, PA Norristown HS, PA St. Andrews HS, SC Central Bucks West HS, PA and Hatboro Horsham HS, PA. and Percussion Advisor for the 8 time DCA World Champion Hawthorne Caballeros. He has also served as principle percussionist for the Fort Walton Beach Symphony and Florida State Symphony as well as several performances with the Fort Walton Beach Community Band.
